hi all, need a little advise and maybe some insparation really. im thinking of changing the motor in my 100e, im currently running a 2.0l pinto all std but im seeking more power. a lot of people have said to mod the pinto ie bore it to 2.1/2.2 cam,carbs etc etc, but i ave been hearing more and more about the zetec covertions and how good the 2.0l zetecs are. so i was just wondering if anyone has done the convertion and if so was there any problems with it?? also is the BDA cam covers still avalible?? any help would be much appreciated. cherrs all.

yeah the job was done really well. i still cant get over how clean it is. just need to save my pennys now and get her all painted and slammed with some nice rimmage lol. i must give a HUGE thanks to Dave @ D&D Developments tho as he found the car and viewed it for me whilst i was training. cheers

Well after selling my nissan 200sx, i wanted to go back old skool so i have been searching for the past few weeks untill i saw this little beaut on ebay. after a week of waiting and getting the father in law to view it as im stuck at raf cosford i collected it saturday. as you al can see it needs a bit of tlc just a paint job mailny. the shell is solid no rust at all. as you can c from the pics it been fitted with a standard 2L pinto motor. and it runs so sweet. its got a fair few bits on 2.8 capri struts with billstein springs 105 anglia rear axle and well a lot more then i can remember lol. its going to be my road/drift/drag toy so i wont be going to mad with it lol. i will get some better pics up asap. hope you like cheers. cheers

Hi all i have been meaning to get some pics up of my road/drift mk2 sport so here goes. how it started. first day working on it and got this far. a new engine was needed as piston no 2 was well knackered new engine in. il keep the post updated when ever there is progress. hope you all like.

yeah i was up at the totb at york this year those and saw the r32 skylines of distinctive cars york up there they are very sweet cars. i used to have a 200sx s14 last year but 8 mpg killed my bank!! Glad to c some fans of the asidways action on here the engine spec at the mo it a 1600 sprot with lightened and balanced flywheel and a cam to start with. im trying to post pics but i have to wait 7 days.

As im in the middle of building a mk2 scort drift car i was wondering if there is any drifters on here or drift fans at least. just wanting to meet new people at future events.

Im looking for a decent bodyshop as the escort needs a bit of welding.I would have a go but i dont trust myself plus i want a good job done. can anyone point me in the right direction i dont mind traveling a bit. i will post pics as soon as the 10 post rules kicks in cheers.

Aa above really i done a fantastic deal with my girlfriends dad to take the 1600 sport of his hands.As he owns two mk1's a mk2 a 100e a capri and about 3 other old skool fords he didnt have anyroom to keep it. it needs a little bit of welding here and there but i just cant wait to get it on the road. big plans next summer tho im thinking cossie on twin 50's or 2.1 pinto im like a dog with 3 tails at the moment

Hi all i thought i had better introduce myself, My name is Aaron im 23 and i got a huge passion for cars. I have had a few cars over the years the best being a 348bhp 200sx and a lovely mr2 tubo t-top,but i have always had a thing for the mk2 escort and since i have been with my new girlfriend who has a harris built motor in her 100e pop and her dad who deals with classic fords and has a big collection of old skool fords himself. so after working on his mk2 escot im thinking a mk2 is the way to go. so fingers crossed il be posting some pics up soon and enjoying rwd fun all over again! cheers
