  1. I've had Escort RS Turbo seats once many moons ago in an Orion (don't ask) and they were very comfy indeed Also probably back in the 90's I had a set of black leather Sierra Sapphire Cosworth front seats in my MK2 Harrier (another one that I should have kept). Had to hand make brackets for the Cossie Recaro's and bolt them to the MK2 runners, they were WIDE though compared to MK2 seats and kissed the door panel, but that might have been my crude brackets ๐Ÿคฃ
  2. Yeah sounds familiar, think I'm going to try to take a trip over there one day next week to get it on their ramps
  3. An alternative I guess, and you could get them banded if you need a bit more width
  4. Thanks for the Vid, interesting results. after speaking to the exhaust chap the other day, I may be taking a different approach, and in doing so saving myself a bundle. after explaining the only reason I was thinking of changing the exhaust/manifold due to the car being very low (yep I know my own choice) and scraping every bump and road camber, he suggested why not just look to modify what I already have to raise it up. of course, that is far too obvious
  5. First little trip out on Sunday, first meet of a brand new meet, not a bit turn out and I didn't take many pics, but good to get out for a bit of a blast Mostly Yank stuff, and some other bits which I didn't photo ๐Ÿคจ

Agreed! especially cars with immobilisers. tried any mobile guys local to you let?
  7. Unless you can find some early ones, I think MK1 & MK2 Mondeos were 4 stud, switched over to 3 on the MK3 facelift. Just found these on ebay, look similar, trick is finding 4 nice ones that are not skinny or buckled to f**k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114745281961?fits=Cars+Year%3A1994|Model%3AMondeo&hash=item1ab75a0da9%3Ag%3AShYAAOSwDxRgYdUA&LH_ItemCondition=3000 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114616724999?hash=item1aafb06e07%3Ag%3Aj-8AAOSwbH9f9eBD&LH_ItemCondition=4

I think that is not much more than I used to pay a good 10 years ago for a new one cut and programmed, At least you know now ๐Ÿ‘

Google mobile car key cutting. There will probably be someone local that can come and cut and programme a key on your drive. Won't be a Ford part but it will work. I used to use a guy in Croydon when I was sales manager at Ford, a third of the price compared to the Ford service dept.... they hated that ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

I would have thought there will be a transponder built in. They dropped the red bit years ago. The remote locking part is immaterial it the car had a PATS system. All Fords ran the PATS (passive anti theft system) immobiliser from the late 90s onwards
  11. Cheers! If its fuel injection there will be someone along shortly who should be able to help. Be good to see some more pics, you could start a new post in projects ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
  12. Credit to you there, great build thread, cant wait to see more progress Keep it up ๐Ÿ‘
  13. As said, there are plenty of clubs and followers over here for the Focus. I had a few as company cars when I worked for Ford when they first came out circa 1999. and later ones too. Decent cars and very popular, and I guess it's just a generation thing, we all hankered for RS2000's, Mexico's and Twin Cams as kids, and the younger 'petrol heads' probably feel the same about the Focus ST's etc. horses for coursed really. I've driven an ST & RS and yes they are quick cars, do I want to own one? Not really, but that's just me.
  14. As above, 50mm or 2 inches in old money all day long
  15. Hi mate Nice looking Anglia, hope you have had fun in it since you bought it. Not a Zetec expert, and not sure what set up you have (carbs/TB's or injection etc) but I changed my fuel set up about 20 years back now and its still going strong. I also didn't bother using the standard fuel pump, just went for Facet fuel pump and filter king regulator straight from the fuel tank direct to the carbs, pump in the boot and regulator close to the carbs. Ran rubber 8mm fuel line throughout, but with the new E10 fuel most would opt for plastic or metal fuel line if replacing now. I stick to super unleaded so the rubber should be good. I've just got a standard tank as well, mine doesn't warrant anything more.
