Agreed! Near us some roads seem 'ok', but others less than half a mile away are shocking, DEEP 3-6 inch holes that will kill your wheel/tyre, and conveniently hidden disguising themselves as a simple puddle. I've warned my newly driving 17 year old lad to even try to avoid puddles round here just to be safe. Sadly, it might take a high profile death for the Government to actually take it seriously.
