  1. Guessing this is an African import ?
  2. I did look at the Longacre 0-30 psi gauge. Intercomp I hadn’t heard of but seems a similar price to the Blue point one. Appreciate the advice…
  3. Thanks for the reply. most reviews I’ve read mention either expensive ones that need calibrated over time to ensure there accuracy or the other end of the scale , pencil type etc Just thought I’d ask the question before choosing one at random… 👍🏼
  4. What tyre pressure gauge are you using? Bored reading reviews online about what’s the most accurate, digital vs mechanical etc so thought I’d ask what experiences you guys have had and what kind/make you use. Fed up getting mixed results using garage or forecourt tyre inflators, some of which read 5 psi higher than others… Currently inflating my 175/60/13’s to 26 psi (?) and looking to buy a decent tyre pressure gauge so I can check them more accurately for myself
  5. Some lovely examples on show 😎
  6. Indeed. Be careful out there guys.
  7. Got sent this from my local car club after Scottish Ford Day… IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THIS. We are posting this message as we feel it only fair that entrants to our show on Sunday and club members are fully aware of a worrying incident. Today we received information from an owner who, when cleaning his vehicle after the show, discovered a magnetic Apple air tracker stuck inside the front bumper. From the information we received this could only have happened at Scottish Ford Day. The owner told us so we can warn other enthusiasts and generally raise awareness of this trend. We have no intention to cause owners to panic but feel that it is our duty to make this information public. Police have been informed and we would ask you to carry out a cursory check of your own vehicles as soon as you can. We believe that this has happened at car shows before and it is something we must all be aware of. Please feel free to share this post if you wish.
  8. 🤩 Easily the best car in the car park though…looks shrunk in the wash 😂
  9. That’s another minefield. Tyres being different widths but listed as being the same dependant on make… Also noticed Dunlop now sell a “classic” style tyre , either unusual sizes or old skool look tread pattern but at circa £200 each they weren’t for me…
  10. 175/50/13 on a 7.5” must look quite stretched Probably much the same as a 195/45 My car came with 175/50’s. 7” front and 8” rear. Front looked ok-ish but rear looked awful and damn right dangerous. I tried 185/60s all round but the front rubbed the arch as don’t have Mexico wings. Fitted 175/60 to front and left the 185 on rear but the rears looked like balloons in comparison to fronts. Spent far too long on a tyre comparison site to try figure out the best combo for front and rear that were closest % wise for profile, rolling radius etc and the best I could find for tyres that were available was 175/60 front and 195/55 rear. Now looking at the car side on they look same height front and back and not like a hot rod with the 185/60 rear. Now I know why cars like Porsche with different widths front to rear have different profiles…eg: if they have a 35 profile front , rear will be 30. A wider tyre on rear needs to come down at least one profile to match…
  11. I thought the same … i “think” they are 195/45’s. A tyre size im led to believe they don’t make anymore so unsure what the go to tyre is now.
  12. All the usually goodies. Rs steering wheel, rs16i front seats, 140 clocks, ronal wheels, Mex wings, narrower rear axle and a lovely cam’d redtop with V6 type 9 box. No goofy 14” wheels here 🙃
  13. SBD motorsport is where I remember it from… 7x13 in description The whole build is 1st class not just the wheels. Attention to detail 😎
  14. Possibly had both at some point. I’ve aseen pics online that look like 7s and if you type in his name on YouTube there’s a video where he gives a brief rundown on spec of his car and it has aftermarket 7.5s Marcus Hayes video ?
