  1. The summer meets are really good. Park your car on the front for free, have a natter and look at some very nice cars. Or go and do the usual seaside stuff... Very pleasant bunch ... Can recommend it.
  2. CCOTP (Classic Cars On The Prom) was attended by us at Salisbury today. It is a gathering of all sorts of classic cars. On the promenade. Sorry I'm no David Bailey, and they are just a selection. But you'll get an idea of the day.
  3. Hi all ... thought for a while i wasn't going tomake it tomorrow. Went to start car tonight to give it wash ready for tomorow. Would not start. Points checked (eventually) for some reason completely knackered. Drove alright when i parked it up. Have you ever tried getting a set of points for a Mk1 Fiesta at 6.30PM New Years Eve. Luckily had an old set in a spare engine stored in my mothers barn. No lights, working by torch. Got them out. Fitted and car started straight away. Think car is telling me its overdue a service. Anyway see you all at Butt of Ale or CCOTP TOMORRO. PHIL
  4. I know its not old skool, but it is all the same a bit odd. Converted from new by Trinoco Garages of Chelmsford. Whom Someone has told me also did 'X' PACK Capri's. (dont know how true that is)
  5. We in Salisbury normally meet last Sunday of month. However instead of usual meet we are going to the Classic Cars On The Prom (CCOTP). This is a brilliant get together of all makes of classic cars, on the Sea front at Bournemouth. Only stipulation they must be 'Y' reg suffix or older. Get everything from Cadillac's to Swallows ,,, Dodges to VW campers ... As well as a good selection of Fords, Escort, Cortina, Anglia, Popular, Zephyr etc. have all been in atteandance previously. To all people in Salisbury and surrounds... we are meeting at Butt Of Ale In Sunnyhill Road at 10.ooam and driving down in convoy to Bounemouth. To any one else see you there. Nearly forgot CCOTP is from 11am to 2pm New years day... see their web site for info and directions. Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all. FUZZY
