  1. Has any one considered wheels from the vw scene ATS cups or ronal turbo's would suit the classic come modern look just a thought
  2. Just found this topic I agree normally people slag ya off for being a nutter but lets face it we all do it I love drifting my mk2 I've got a 2lt pinto and have welded my diff awesome in the dry and f**king scary in the wet Like whats bin said before the key is to use a little steerin as possible so not to kick back on yaself and constant throttle If ya struggle to get it to whip round try a bit of handbrake the key is to get both tyres to let go... I ain't a pro just my opinion people's... Smifee
  3. Hi all, didn't know were to post this but i was just wandering what happened to the 100e in projects and resto's that someone was putting a jap turbo engine in it was either a mitsi or dahatsu engine can't remember but i was watchin it regular and see him flying along with it but then nothing... Just curios as i based my plans on seein what he'd done and i was hoping to see it completed..
  4. since when? they're front weel drive. Maybe it's in the A4 then, that engine was definately longditudinally mounted in something! A4's are front wheel drive too. VAG desided it would be a good ide to mount the engines as far front as you can and make it FWD. it looks RWD but its a gay FWD car RWD here: (passat) (i'm only new had to delete pic) Before I cossied my Escort I thought about building a second MK1 with an alternative power-plant. This would have been it, so I knew that engine was available in RWD format. A friend of mine had an Ibiza Cupra with about 300bhp (claimed) and that flew! Sorry boys that pic is of a front wheel drive car audi's and vw's mounted the engine like that for weight transfer but it was shocking under 100 mph it understeer's like mad i had a a4 and have worked on loads of these motors. The gear box is mounted longways and has the drive shaft mounting on the side ment the engine weight is kept in front of the wheels, it's a good gearbox for using in a midengined kit car.

Will have escort back up and running soon. it did have a slight tap when throttling off that i couldn't find so wasn't too surprised.. lol
