Hi, just a quick post to let you know there’s a fordsport meet at the bridge inn at saxilby near Lincoln this Thursday night at 7ish , I’ve posted this on loadsa forums to get a kind of multi forum meet thing going on . Theres gonna be a raffle so bring a couple of quid,prizes will be polish,sponges etc,ohh and 4 tickets to the clio cup . early fiestas are older than some mk2 escorts,capris and granadas,just cos theyre fwd doesnt make them non classic etc,they were a break through for ford theyre first mass fwd car,cheap ,reliable and also have a good motorsport history.good enough for roger clark,good enough for me.........when i eventually finish mine

well not long after getting it ,the bloody thing stopped starting so i thought id sort a few wiring issues and tidy the inside up a bit.............. here we go found minor rust so sorted that stripped painted also stripped and repainted the cage stripped the engine due to questionable head,got another stage 2 of escortec and had it converted,skimmed etc. will rebuild it up over the next couple of months with the new pumps etc ive bought bodged loom currently rebuilding a whole new loom,its been costly but ive learned loads prepped n repainted the engine bay new panels ready for trimming in vinyl smoothed grill going to play in workshop tomorrow night so ill update with new pics later in the week

youd probobly need to alter the inner wing as the auto box is bigger iirc,its the same mod to accomodate the 5speed to a mk1 hope this helps and hope you get 1 sorted
