I am local to Attleborough, old buckenham. I have yet to see an OSF other than a yellow one parked in a driveway near the school. Where are they all hiding? Hopefully not too long before my MK2 is done. Are there any local meets?

All the underseal is now removed, doors off, front wings off and front panel off. Ready to go for sand blasting. Pics to follow

Thanks for all the welcomes. I now have tomorrow off, so will be spending the day removing the remains of the underseal and continuing my hunt for rust.

Afternoon, After lurking for a few weeks I have finally worked out how to register... I have a Mk2 Escort 2-door that I have stored in a barn for the last 4 years until I had time to work on it. I now have the time and have knocked a wall through on one of the barns and built a workshop. I have so far stripped the car right back, built and mounted it on a spit and removed all the underseal. I am not sure what I want the car to end up like once the restoration is complete but i have some sort of plan in my head. I think it will b emore of a work in progress to get it back on the road with the x-flow then hopefully step up to a zetec eventually. I guess fast road use would be a good description. I am based in Norfolk but work in Essex for Ford. Hopefully I can share some knowledge and take some from the Forum. Stuart
