Thats Ed Thorton @ Vegas. I may have even been there that year. He did go 230+ with that car. Last year a pro street car run 5.90s he he
  2. I did bloody well, it was a 12.38@108. Ive fixed the diff problem now too. Im going to work hard on the cortina over the winter i promise. No worries about the heads, glad they can be some use to you.
  3. Toby what did you run on the slicks? or did you not make a pass due to the manifold?
  4. Its easyer to hook a rear wheel drive car up, hence most drag racing cars are RWD. My light FWD drive car is hard to hook up and to get a 2.00 is going some. Make any sence???
  5. Good going m8 My best is 2.19 with 175/50/13 A048R medium compound So 2.27 on 10 yr old bridgestones is good then Not in a RWD car, you need to pull a 2.00 flat or better. I run the 1,97 on 175/50/13 ao48r's My Renault is red with black arches.
  6. 60ft on my 13.0 was a 2.14 My best ever is a 1.97 Track will be so good once it all warms up and they get some cars down it. That was on 185/60/13 Yokos A048r
  7. Track was bald, the guys at Santa pod were doing all they could to get rubber down, I run a 13.0@108 in my r5, my 60fts was 2 tenths down. 12s next time out Always nice to see a lotus out and about.
  8. Depending on weather, 9 would be a good time to get there
  9. The R5, i'm trying real hard to get a 12 out of it.
  10. First one of the year!!! Who's up for it? http://www.rwyb.co.uk/sat_night_special.php
  11. Dont do it Mark, you dont need massive slicks. They have run 7.06@211 on a 275 drag radials. Small fords should be on 13s

  13. Errrrrrr, more to the point, whats happening with your tina? puddy Seems lots of people are busy and are working on there motors, I also have been working on mine lots too, Just have the N/S strut top to change and then my car goes to the paint shop. I do really hope to have it out next year, becuase the jobs to do are becoming less and less. I'll take some pictures soon and upload them here.
  14. What are you guys doing over the winter to make your fords quicker or cleaner?
  15. I have nothing to say apart from nice things about Steve and the whole speed shack team, Best of luck to you guys
