  1. South Australia. Adeliade hills. -- Great driving roads around- If you know what i mean.
  2. Well lads..... been quite along time now but im nearly finished with my house build and the shed is near on complete except for a few 42 inch tvs LOL I go my hoist up and running so i thought it be a good time to post a couple of pics of the under side of the car. Im still a little way ,few months prob from it going back on the road......... but now i have the hoist in i can atleast start to finish her. To be honest i dont even know how much work i need to complete. I stopped working on it about 4 years ago now to focus on my house and building this shed so i can finish it !! Prob take me a couple of days just to work out whats finished and whats not. Any how here is a couple of pics of what i have been doing for the past4 years....... busting my chops.. thats what A couple of the shed
  3. F**K mate...... if i was on your side of the planet id shake your hand!...... followed by a long conversation over a few beers, about how ya did this and how ya did that LOL Really nice work there mate..... full credit to ya it looks superb. I thought my car had its fair share of chassis mods but your car is a whole new level. Lover the way you did the front nose cone. did you make it out of fiberglass.....or did you join all the steel panels together and turn it into a one piece clip?
  4. WOW..... really nice work there mate! You got the lines just right. Best arched mk2 corty i have seen. Engine pics?
  5. well..... Its been a while, But finally able to start getting back into the car. Watch this space lads.
  6. Yeah... i can vouch for how good the 4age is especialy in turbo form
  7. Hey mate. The std steering box isnt too bad. I have had it rebuilt so its pretty good + all my steering joints are new ......so its half decent i guess. Still not as good as a steering rack. My 2 door will have a rack conversion. The front coilovers ended up costing about 2k complete. I ended up making them my self so they were abit cheaper that way. That gets you the leg with thread on it, Biltein shock, and adjustable strut tops and king springs pro sport springs. When it comes time to getting some ....... if you go down this path send me a pm as i have another set that im about to make up. I can supply the strut complete or just the threaded leg if thats what you want to do. Font sway bar is a kmac 27mm with my own anti dive kit. My 16x7 were a 125mm backspacing...... not sure what that is.
  8. pushed her out of the carport for the first time in years! so we could get my bro's mk2 GT out for some work. Had to take some snaps while she was out. Its the first time its touched tarmac with the 5 stud conversion and 8 inch rims. Now just gotta find the time for the few remaining things.
  9. hey mate. You got some really nice work going on there Engine is looking sweet and all you body work looks A-class. Ill be keeping an eye in here tp watch the progress so keep the pics rolling. What sort of diff you gonna run in it? Modified falcon like mine or something different?
  10. More pics Rear brakes... billet wilwoods Handbrake setup. Notice my little alloy clip that holds the cable to the chassis but still allows it to slide during suspension travel. I wanted something out of the ordinary here rather than just a bracket or clip to hold it. I also wanted to keep it as neat as i could and didn't want to use bolts (jeeze i can be a fussy unpleasant individual) so i came up with this idea that slides into place via a machined channel. [8D]
  11. Well...... with my shed up (but not concreted yet) and house well and truely under construction now, i have had some spare time to get back into my car. So here is a couple of pics of the progress. Still a fair way off of having her running but still....... its a start!
  12. LOL cheers mate! I made those little clamps. They are attached by bolts which have been drilled and taped into the axle tubes Its amazing the questions and praise i have had on that idea. At the time i just wanted something that was out of the ordinary to attach my lines and came up with those. I never realised it would turn out to be such a talking point.
  13. recent diff work. I got the housing back from the coaters. Polished the billet sway bar mounting caps that i made and gave a final coat of black to the girdle. Just need to assemble now.
  14. Love it mate! Remember reading about this. It was featured not long before mine. Very tidy engine bay....... very tidy everthing actually
