Im not 100% sure but I think Escort mk1+2 vans had front quarter bumpers from the mk1 Escort fitted on the rear.

I am in the process of fitting twin pumps in the boot of my mk2 Escort. The plumbing seems straight forward enough but as usual for me the electrics are causing me grief. The instructions recommend wiring the pump into the oil pressure switch. I had considered using two switches and taking the power from a spare wire near the ignition switch. I have used this wire on other cars when fitting radios. Any thoughts on the best way to wire up twin pumps would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Kenny

Hi, just joined the forum after reading Classic Ford. I own two mk2 Escorts. The first is a two door rally replica that I built from a shell and the second a 4 door that I have moddified a wee bit.
