Recently took this in a deal on my V8 Mk1 Escort, its a great little car ans has an absolute fortune spent on it over the last few years. Brief spec, RS2000 engine with 2.8inj pistons, Stage 2 head, high lift cam, twin 45's, four branch exhaust. Five linked rear on coil overs, modified Escort struts with coil overs and Mk1 Escort crossmember. Standard interior recovered in leather including door panels and steering wheel. Drive runs great and has had new clutch plus cylinders and new calipers, discs and pads in the last two months. Only selling as, to be honest, its a bit to small for me !!!!!!! £8950 ono 07583 665 453

Got it the other week Ross, swopped for the Escort. Needs clutch sorting ( new about month ago ) but needs adjustment sorting as slips anything over 3k and "think" the carbs may need setting up, other than that seems OK

Hi, All I can tell you is that its got a narrowed 2.8 inj Capri rear axle fitted with uprated halfshafts, still sitting on leaf springs but really wants anti tramp bars and panhard rod fitted ( a job I will do if it doesnt go )

If I remember right high 14's , but I do drive like an old fart !!!! LOL

Sorry to sound vague, but not something I had considered, but recently realised its not getting used and have other vehicles that are taking up my time, and the new house Many of you know the car, but brief spec: Rover V8 3900 cc with 5 speed manual Rover box ( engine fully rebuilt about 5 years ago, very little use since ) 2.8 injection Capri front struts converted to coil overs 2.8 injection Capri rear axle, narrowed with uprated half shafts Bulkhead all proffessionally converted to fit Rover Standard black vinyl interior with full roll cage Lotus steels ( 5 1/2 J fronts ) and 6J banded rears. Standard bodywork in original dark blue. Needs a little tidying but cleans up really nice. Runs well, real street sleeper as looks standard. Do they look OK with caps on, sen a few and a bit undecided, they look a bit "weird" almost bulbous where the centres join the rim !!!

Looking for a pair of 7" Lotus steels for the rear of the Escort as the 6" still arent really filling the arches. Really gonna make an effort to dig the escort out this year and get some work done on it.

Hi guys, Got a box off a "mate" a while back and he reckoned it was a Rocket box, I'm suspecting its not but just wanted to check. The numbers off the box are as follows On tag 2821EM 6M 13 ( IF4) Tail hsg 2821E 7A0400 Box body 2821E 7006D Any info would be great, just want to know if its a Rocket or a door stop LOL
