I think the event will fall on the same weekend next year. 18th and 19th June 2016. Cheers Greg -
Hi Tackleberry, If you send 6 photographs to me by PM, Email ( gikin@cherishedvehicleinsurance.co.uk ) or post. I can look at them in house. We would require All four sides of the exterior, Shot of the interior and shot of engine bay. Cheers Greg

Due to other work commitments i.e. I was in Bradford for the Yorkshire Wartime Experience Friday and Saturday I managed to get down to Pendine with the Missus Sunday morning. The rain was killer to begin with but didn't dampen anyone's spirits my missus Tina even took to the sea for a paddle in the rain? Anyway, the rain eventually cleared and the VHRA/Sidewinders set to task preparing the strip. After mid afternoon everyone took to the sand!! Great to hang out with friends new and old. A big shout out goes out to the VHRA/Sidewinders for organising such a kool, world renowned event!! 2015 speeds including Matt Farrant's new fastest speed can be found on the VHRA news page: Pendine Speeds 2015 If you want to re-live or check out the previous 2 years events you can buy merchandise from the VHRA store here: Store I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking...

Hi Mike, Im exceedingly disappointed to hear about the phone call you made to CVI. Ive sent you a PM please could you have a look and answer a few questions to help me out. Cheers Greg

Hi Paul, Bubbly has gone yeah!! Lol!! Went nice with a Chicken Tikka Tawa believe it or not. I started the day with a full tank which is about £25 and topped up the tank with £12.56 at Mile End services.

Thank you for the kind words guys. I'm really glad I took part it was ace, again its really down to people on OSF and North Wales Classic Fords. If it wasn't for all the participants and the atmosphere it wouldn't have been anywhere near the fun we had. So everyone deserves a pat on the back!!

Yeah I also agree second stage was great. I was gripping the steering wheel, rocking back and forth in my seat shouting 'come on, come on, come on' on the steep winding hills screaming away in 2nd gear though. Mk2Ben did you get your fan working in the end? -

What an epic day!! The Midlands to Wales tour. It was great to meet Mark one, Paul Mann, Baz and everyone else I was fortunate to talk to. I'll be honest I didn't expect to make it all the way round I was anticipating a breakdown somewhere along the line. But TQ got me to Telford, around North Wales (Evo Triangle rules!!) and back home with out missing a beat. Covered a total of 218 miles today not only surprising me but also a few people being stock and 997cc we gave as best I could. A big thank you to Rossmk2, Aled and Dave from North Wales Classic Ford for organising the day and routes plus my really unexpected award. Here's to 2016's event I can't wait!!

Looking forward to Sunday!! Fitted an aftermarket radiator fan that I bought off Frenchy many moons ago. Just to play safe, as TQ died last time waiting in traffic to get into Trentham Transport show the other year.
