  1. My Grandgather owned one or two when new, probably back in mid fifties or early sixities or there abouts. He worked for Ford in Dearborn and put quite a few miles on it. My cousin said he used to see it around the Rochester, Michigan area in the early 70's. but lost track of it after that. It probably didn't survive the Michigan environment, thats seems sad to me. Gary p.s. - I'd still like to see the photos
  2. Both of my mums folks were from Cornwall, I think Portreath. Gary portreath is only appprox 4 miles away !! They both came to the U.S. in the 1920's and moved to Detroit. My grandfater worked for Ford Motor Company as a tool maker and did the die patterns for the sheet steel that was stamped into panels. He had a Zodiac and got a lot of grief from co workers for driving a it. But it was a Ford so he liked it. Gary

  8. I'll post some if I can, need a few more posts before that though. Right now there are 3 rollers and 2 need a lot of body work. The other is rot free and a shame to cut to make anything fit right. Gary
  9. Hey Folks I am Gary E. Anderson I am interested in Ford Cortina mk1's, I have several LHD GT's one of which I hope to install a Ford Windsor 302, will need to address the English rear axle I would think, unsure of if I will go with an automatic or 5 speed. Interested in all Ford Kent engines and the derivitives. Thanks Gary
