cheers mate, iv now found the tech section- still finding my way around

hello,im a new member,currently driving around in a mk5 cortina whilst im on with my winter project, i hope theres some people out there who can give me some advise. im currently converting my mk 2 escort to cosworth . the first problem i have is what radiator and intercooler to use. iv got the dimensions of a rs 500 intercooler and i reckon if i cut 50mm of the bottom it will fit and then use a alloy radiator like the grp4 ones jmc sell. the second problem i have is that i have bought a coil over conversion for my front bilsteins, i just dont know how to remove the inserts from the strutt bodies before welding the threaded sleeve on. i hope some one out there can advise me ..... good web site from what iv seen....cheers ian im sure iv put this in the wrong section, see how it goes any way!!!!!!!!!!!!
