  1. ...an anti dive kit? I imagine we must just call it something else "over here".
  2. Yes, the indicators came that way. That car was a 1974 so in the US it came with 5 mph bumpers, which were these huge shock absorbed things. As well as all this weird emissions controll stuff. After 25 years cars are no longer inspected here(you wish) so I was able to pull all that crap off. The nose of the car raised up as if I had taken the engine out!! I had to cut 2 coils off! The climate is great for storing cars, I'm amazed at what gets rebuilt in Europe or even in the north east US. The old cars here are plentiful, I've only posted up my Fords. If only I could get a MK I escort.
  3. Well I've made 10 posts so here goes... I own the only Corsair I've ever seen, we have some Cortinas(mostly MkI), a few more Capris, you don't want to know what a shitbox the US escort is. We have no "real" escorts. First is my Capri Next my turbo Pinto "banger" race car. Last is my '56 Ford car hauler project. It was a beer delivery truck! I'll post up the Corsair in the project section as I make progress. Later..

me too! I'm ready to show off my junk. I mean cars by the way.
  5. Oops I posted elsewhere first. I hail from Oakland, California. I just picked up my second OSF a '64 Corsair gt, 2 door, lhd. The first was a Capri that I sold a while back. The Corsair is in very good condition with only one spot of rust on the passenger's floor(driver for most of you). I have already found the requisite Capri bits to update the suspension. The future engine is a Ford 2.3 turbo, I'm not sure if you got this motor over there. It came in the Mustang SVO. That's all for now. Thanks for letting in a yank! ...oh yes, I forgot about the Pinto race cars(2). They count too don't they?
