  1. Wiring looms isnt my job, its just a hobby. But id like to go in to making uprated replacement looms as a business Im a mechanical electrical engineer by trade. So far ive done the looms for the rs2k boys, ive rewired a few cars, and my own car, a 96 escort rs2000 running throttle boddies and an emerald ecu, Including bypassing the pats immobiliser. All the looms i make are covered in braided sleeve with glue lines heatshrink, not just wrapped in pvc tape. If anyone wants any info as i say e-mail me. Obviously i need to get patterns so if you want something and ive not done it before, providing you can supply a pattern loom to copy then i can make it for the cost of parts. Any questions or queries plase mail me
  2. Hello all, I hope its ok to post this here. My names Gavin, im a member of www.rs2000-16v.com. Ive been making up replacement/refurbished coil pack wiring looms for the rs2000 16v as its a common weak point. Anyways, getting on to the point of the post!! Im lookin g to expand the range of looms i do and was wondering if there are any looms on classic fords that are not available anymore (i assume all of them!!) that give you problems. As long as i have a pattern or spec to work from i can pretty much make up anything, all looms are covered in woven braid with soldered and crimped terminals along with new plugs and rubber boots etc etc: The only things i cant get are specific ford loom plugs, which i re-use from the old looms i currently do. I can make up custom looms to a spec, or just copy an origional one. If anyone wants any more info etc please e- mail me at gcdent@sky.com thanks.
