Personally I avoided FB for years because everyone was talking about it. after getting pissed of with forums and "post whores" I opened a FB account to see what it's all about. Like any tool in yer inventory, if you use it properly you'll benifit form it. I find the "Chat" feature ideal for keeping in touch rather than texting or phoning people. and it's real time if yer chatting to someone on line. I don't put up personal photo's of family, as I think it's personal. As far as having a FB thread for OSF I see nothing worng with it. I agree that forums are better for stuff like build/resto threads, but a brief post on FB can remind people what's coming up and or if soemthing is Wanted..or worst case.. ideaL for getting the word out there for the worst aspect of owning OSF.... ROBBED CARS.

I picked it.. because it was the Ford Motorsport development plant. It was there the Twin Cam was Born and the beinging of fords domination in rallying. had to add J25 as someone else has the name Boreham, dispite the non activity of that member , I've failed to glean the name proper. J25 is for Junction 25 not far from the Boreham Facility was.

A few people highlighted that but we couldn't find anything wrong and for most of us it worked fine. Is it still like that for you or have the software updates (that have been done in the background) resolved the issue? it's fine now.. Litmus test is to be able to log on at work... and I can.. I stopped using the forum here soon after the site changed. it seened to take for ages to load up....no idea why.
