sorry guys its for a mk2 escort barrel if this helps sometimes i turn the key nothing, another time it will work fine

right guys i have dodgy rear cap on my barrel ( the wiring on the rear of the barrel ) has anyone got on i can buy off them at all

Cheers guys she's getting there now and has had new floors all the way through and new bulk head and gearbox tunnel so will be solid for years to come hopefully, just can't wait to get out in her and do a few meets and shows in her

well after purchasing her just over 2 weeks ago with a hand from my mate colin sullivan and also ashton mobile helping me with endless tips and advice aswell as some parts, we have came on leaps and bounds with noa well first up i clean up and repainted the parts i had got off colin ashton and refurbed my rocker cover, then off to where i have the car i went and while my mate finished off the pans and tunnel i started fitting the black diamond discs and ebc greenstuff pads to the bilstein front legs then primered bulkhead the a while later colour while that little lot was going off we refitted the suspension all round got her back on the deck for the first time in a year front end temporaryily fitted then when i got home the new fan had been delivered so once the engine box and prop is back in i will fit this and fit all the new pipe work as well and as some of you may have notice NO HEATER bowl as yet lol i am gonna do this gloss black and tiger seal it in place so in the even of any work being needed in future the job will be alot less painful so to speak. well that it till next week when i will be doing another 14hr day working on the old girl

well guys i am in need of top and bottom radiator hoses, as well as heater matrix to block hoses, and also a distributor for my 1600 crossflow. have money waiting any help would be really helpfull all the best paul

i totaly agree with you there buddy, i had a mk1 escort for my first car after passing my test in 1988, then i moved onto hot hatches and such like got another escort which was a complete screamer of a car, and sold that when my first child arrived and now they are teenagers and my youngest chil my son is now 7 and he loves his cars i have bit the bullet and bought the one i have now and was the dearest car i have ever bought, and my god how the prices have changed

I think it's still alive and kicking yes the cars have got to stupid prices trust me I know this coz my escort is the dearest car I have ever bought, and don't regret it for a minute,

well my daily driver is a mk4 golf v5 gti also i use the wifes bora sport, so my mk1 escort is only used on my days off and when i fancy a bit of oldskool action
