Yes you can uncheck the sync button and it doesnt matter whats on either. You really shouldnt have the sync button ticked unless you cant work out how to manage your music yourself.

you need to check and make sure that your router can allow you to add more devices and assign an ip address to them. I only know how to use the bt hubs not netgear sorry.

its *impossible* to take tracks off an ipod into itunes due to apples encryption. You can however work inside their software on the ipod to allow you to see the file tree which is arranged in a number system like linux. I would recommend *purchasing* the songs through your local friendly P2P site. Sorry Savvi it isnt easy

hate to jump on the bandwagon but yeah this is the way it goes.
