My Escort was the 4 door white mark 2 with the snail on the front bumper, & I was the bloke with the beard walking around on crutches (got knocked off my motorbike many, many years ago.) Thanks for the pictures of it in the events section - I wish I had found time to wash it first. When I have posted my 10 posts I will put some photos up in readers rides.

Having had such a good time at Crawley on Saturday my son has told me to join & here I am. I am probably the oldest member on here so bear with the old boy. My current OSF is a Mk2 Escort 4 door auto which I have had for about a year. I have owned many old Fords including a Mk3 Coritna estate that had a 2000 Pinto built by George Polley fitted & it went like stink until the body fell off it. I also ran a motor factors in the early 90s that used Mk2 Escort vans instead of Maestros.
