its an easy thing to do i did my last van in a day from 850 to 1275 metro turbo it was great id recomend it if you want it buy a bulkhead box from mini sport cut the box in about a inch from the master cylinder plate and weld in place change the fuel line to a larger bore ad a return line the same size dont bother with the brain throw it away it only worked the original boost light in the metro fit the fuel pump to the rear subframe the dizzy just plugs in to the original loom and the mini wires go to the coil buy an exhaust from minisport ar another suplier and get thrasing oh dont forget to fit disc brakes if you have drums. good luck.

big block chevy blown injected on methanol with 46% overdrive on the blower should be good for around 850 to 950hp might be powerfull enough for my 100e

well i better introduce myself the names duncan im from east london originaly moved to essex for 17 odd years now im in the highlands i own my own mot garage and im ford nuts well british fords yank engines but i have been known to build the odd pinto screamer currently building a 100e escort with bigblock chevy power and just bought the blue 100e escort that was in the magazine earlyer this year? so thats up for a totall reddoo as its a right pill o sh*** also a 300e waiting for the treatment aswell but thats a long termer now. previous builds include 107e with 302 ford. 105e with pinto-302 ford. 1600e with pinto. 100e with pinto-rover-chevy. corsair with 302ford.307evan with pinto.cortina mk5 with rover. minivan with metro turbo. various other minis and just latly the green modelT in custom car a couple of months back. well thats about it i might try and post a pic of the escorts but dont hold your breath or anything. cheers duncan.
