  9. Dont worry mate my car had been off the road for 21 years but i just rebuilt that engine and modified and lets say upgraded i took for mot and it passed went to post office but iam not tax exempt though but what if the engine you put in was already in there and the old keeper never registerd it. i thought all you needed was an mot and logbook to tax it, its free cos of the cars age they are not done on engine size mine is a crossflow it was the same price as a v6 but tax it then phone sort out your logbook to what the actual engine size is cos it will be registerd online as a v6 when they do the mot but not on the certificate but i thought any car that passed an mot was up to road standards if they meet the mot standards whats the worry you should pass the sva but then i thought the sva was if you like made big and i mean big changes to the chassis,
  10. its aged between 24-75 iam only 23 mate
  11. Can get just a months classic car insurence and if you can, could you tax a car with it?
  12. Hi guys just a quick question if you are camping and going on the saturday after 12.30pm would i be able to get a picture of my osf taken on the way in. Its just this is the last event before i strip the car down to restore so i would just like a decent pic cos if i dont i will regret.
  13. Give it time mate you are doing well just got to think positive keep busy but you will get withdrawals thats where you have to be strong enough and put your family first dont give up mate.
  14. but what if they got a very young and nieve apprentice to do it mate sum garages have stupid young lads working on cars not saying all garages are like that. you dont need to disconnect any brakes to do them clutches i remember now you dont touch none of that. it could be anything really?
  15. just be carefull cause i have read that if you dont tell them it could void yor insurence, have you got and old certificate or any old paperwork it tells you what can happen i think somewhere in the very small print. try www.moneysupermarket.co.uk they are very helpfull
