  10. Just recieved my new Mk2 Tina carpet from classic car carpets. To say i am totally gutted would be an understatement, the carpet came in 8 pieces and none of it was moulded at all. the front piece of the tranny tunnel was just sewn in to shape, the passanger side carpet did not even match the lines of the car. the side pieces we cut wrong and too tall and the rear carpet was just 1 piece of straight carpet like from allied carpets. and even that did not fit propely also obviousley not moulded for the tranny tunnel. even the 2 triangles for the back seat were cut different from each other!!! then there is the complete missing bit, the bit below the back seat. has anyone used these in the past and what did you think?? i am now going to save up for a 1 piece moulded jobbie from OZ and will bin this one.

  19. hi mate yeh all done, did it the other night. had tro grind off the ARB bush brackets as the old owner had welded them on as the bolts were spinnin in the chassis. i grund them off, drilled the chassis right through. drilled a larder hole in the top, dropped a spacer in, welded it. then i bolted my new ARB brackets right through the chassis. whle i was at it i changed the ARB bushed - TCA inner and outer bushes for polly ones. Rear axel went straight forward just on 2" blocks, had to thin the dowl down but thats it. Just finished wiring a stereo in to the glove box and put the final coat of varnish on wood. as soon as the carpet comes and i find an interior i will be up and running. just got to set the carb up once i have done the timng
