Hi, I joined as I had just done some work on the Cortina and whilst surfing I found this site.... I then joined and never got around to introducing myself as we had a bit of illness in the family so the Cortina got mothballed and so did my surfing online! But now we are on the mend and new toys etc all together with a bucket load of enthusiasm! Commercials are cool, I like anything retro though. I am considering making the project traveller into a pickup as we made a chassis for it so anything goes!

Hi, The name is Spence and I live in the Forest of Dean. First car in 1983 was a Cortina MK3 and I have lost count how many Ford's I have had since. Sample:- Mk1 Cortina - 2 Mk2 Cortina - 2 Mk3 Cortina - 8 Mk4 Cortina - 5 Mk5 Cortina - 3 Mk1 Escort - 5 Mk2 Escort - 2 Anglia van - 1 Sit up n Beg V8 Anglia - 1 Edsel wagon - 1 Mk1 Granada - 1 Oh it goes on (never a Capri though). So, I decided recently to give up on a MK1 Cortina 2 door GT I was restoring and go down the route of a cute little Thames van. a 300E. Bought it yesterday after it had been stood for 3 or so years and....got it straight through the MOT today. It needs some TLC and I will be calling on the team for some direction if you all don't mind. It is a pinto 5 speed. I can weld, paint, work in electronics so hope I can be of help to others also. My present collection of cars is below:- 1953 Buick 2 door coupe (under resto) 1961 Thames (will be my daily runner when not at work) 1962 Morris Traveller (the wifes baby) 1963 Morris Traveller V6 (ongoing project)# 1979 Bedford Motorhome (the family weekender) and a couple of boring daily cars not worth mentioning.
