  1. A friend of mine is looking for an autobox for a pinto, needs everything to convert from auto to manual and would take a complete car to get all the required parts. They are in Sutton (S London) and I am in Shropshire/Sussex/In between. Can anyone help?
  2. Thanks all the engine is sold and collected (member here bought it)
  3. Its 300 collected not shipped.
  4. Sorry I meant to say its a twin choke webber and has a k&n type filter (may even be k&n)
  5. Guys, I have a 1987 Transit in for breaking (everything on it is available) and it has a 2L pinto (205 block) with downdraft webber. I was told it was from a police vehicle. For sale as a complete engine with ancillaries but less transit specific parts (adaptor plate, flywheel, engine mounts). Can be seen running and even be driven around the farm prior to removal. Goes well and sounds brilliant. £300 collected from Haywards Heath. Please PM if interested in the engine or any of the van parts - I don't check here often
  6. Removed from a 2.9 EFi Engine, but will fit all cologne V6 engines & possibly Essex engines too? £130 + post or collect from Shedfield (near Southampton), Haywards Heath, or Porthmadog (or possibly somewhere in between!)
  7. As above... Alloy bellhousing to suit a type 9 gearbox behind a colonge engine! (Thats all engine sizes). It will not work with essex, pinto, crossflow, zetec engines etc. £90 collected from Haywards Heath (or can post if you arn't in a huury)
  8. Guys I have a 1800 silvertop zetec without the guts and a type 9 (same condition) which I used for mocking up a zetec install. Basically... you get a silvertop zetec, with sump, block, head, water pump, oil pump and nothing else, and a type 9 casing without the bellhousing. £20 collected from Haywards Heath
  9. Hi Bob I have a 4 speed box - which I bought by mistake. Its had the top open for a few weeks so it will need a flush out, and I had to free off the selector mech because it was a bit rusty and it wouldn't change gear. I don't know if its the right one for your car though? The output splines are a smaller dia than the type 9, but the input is the same. If you want to come to collect it from Haywards Heath you can have it for a small donation (£20?) to my Moggy Minor Project!
  10. Cheers Guys
  11. Hi Guys MinorMatt here.... I mainly drive my transit ('95 one so not of any interest here) and my morris minors (which spend more time being modified, normally with ford bits, than driven!) However I would really like a mk1/2 transit and or a mk1/2 escort, im not in the position to be able to get anything else at the moment but I thought I would try and gain some knowledge before looking at potential purchases!
