Was running 380 when i removed it from the car, My mate and myself did a rolling rd day my escort coss made 324BHP and this engine was in a 4x4 cossie saph, it lost oil pressure due to an oil pump faliure, only had a very light skim, Its not my first YB motor build, im ford trained RS technician, grow up with YB motors, and the BOA And BOB V6, didnt like them that much, Big fan of the YB thou, the other reason for the build it had 155000 on the clock so it was getting a bit smokey, should be good for a few miles now

WRC Cometic Triple layer Head Gasket Rest Of the gasket Set, Not Cheep but worth every penny Head rebuilt new guides and a skim Head Fitted and torqued down More to follow

Ive had the same happen in the past, ive allways welded them back up, as the last guys say its normally due to vibration, you can brace the manifold, found this does help, but be prepered for a new manifold,

Well the arches have been ordered today from RD, cheeper than express panels, Many thanks guys, will post the pics on my rebuild thread as i get more done

This is very true, as much as i do love the standard arch look, i think in this case im going bubbles, as i said ive cut the arches know so there you go, many thanks for the kind words and pics,

I feel your pain, oner of my rear arches is mint out of its brains, well was till i cut it off

This is very true, being a 1300E it did have the correct wings fitted, and the price of 4 steel bubbles is cheaper than one NOS Mex wing, im in a pickle now, What should i do,?????????????????????????

The spray bar is to cool the base of the pistons, ive fitted an RS200 sump to a YB block, had to tig weld a turbo return pipe in to the side, i ran an extra oil cooler to get a bit more oil in to the engine,

Im Currently rebuilding a 1300 E Mk1, fitting a BDA/Zetec Engine, copy of a works BDG Engine, Do I go Bubbles or not, Can`t decide, im going for maize yellow, HELP GUYS, Will the colour carry the bubbles ok with no strips? looking for the classic RS1600 Look, running 7x13 miniltes, with 175/55/13 tyres, Your Input Would be good , any pics of the colour i want with bubbles?
