Hi guys and girls, After some advice, I have a mk2 escort estate running this spec 2L Zetec 5 speed type 9 box Capri axle 3.5 diff 175 50 13 tyres My speedo clock (sport clocks) read a little fast, about 10-15mph faster, but faster I travel the more gauge reads. Example doing 70mph clocks read 100mph I'm sure my speedo drive is black and had 23 teeth, firstly it had a white drive with 22 teeth but was even more out so we changed it for the black one to see the difference, it helped as they read slightly less but still not correct Anyone know what speedo drive i should be using?? Phoned burtons, they only stock two drives, grey 23 teeth and brown 22 teeth Many thanks Rich

I'm goin burton's soon mate, i'll ask him when i'm there If anyone know's of pic's or has any tips give me a shout. I'm gonna dummy up the wings i have against my brothers mk1 tomo, he hasn't any wings on it. So it should give me a good idea how it'll look

Got all the panels to do it mate. My only issue is the lines and shape of the wings against the mk1 doors. Has anyone got any pics of this little mod

ello again big thanks to all that have been in touch regarding parts, managed to sort out some rear glass, rear tailgate and glass and a few other bits well chuffed with all of the help gonna hopefully start a thread soon on mty estate resto.... will be doing so once my sierra cosworth is finished cheers again, rich

hi everyone just wanted to say hello i'm new to the site as of tonight.... from what i've seen so far it looks as tho the site is going to be a great help i've just bought myself a mk2 escort estate, which i'm going to fix up and put back on the road.. its missing quite a lot tho if you know of any parts or you can point me in the right direction to get parts, glass and interior for starters. be very much appreciated cheers rich
