  1. They look great, what size are these wheels? I would guess 7x15 ET-25?
  2. It's this car: http://www.kkl280p.com/
  3. Daily 250km to and back from work incl. traffic jams in a stripped out MK2 In the same car from The Netherlands to Berlin and back witch was 1400km. All with earphones
  4. Witch language's do you have to learn at witch level in The UK? In Dutch highschool you'll have to learn Dutch (ofcourse) English, German and French.
  5. No why would they? If you're not driving it there shouldn't be a problem.
  6. Hehe, Google is your friend! There's just one way of learing a language, travel and practice. When i do speak/ write English i think in English, und wenn ich Deutsch spreche denke ich in Deutsch.
  7. It's alway nice to know your languages! Warum sprechen wir in dieses topic kein deutsch?
  8. Thanks for the answers, sounds very simular to the Dutch system except for the possibility to sell the remaining tax. In The Netherlands you also have to declare your car sorn if it's not taxed. The Dutch goverment has also scraped the taxfee rule for cars after 1987 . Roadtaxes are not on emissions (yet) but on location and weight. If you buy a new car the goverment ads tax depending the emissions. Pfeehww, i'm happy my OSF's are not taxed by emissons!
  9. It's not really affecting/ concerning me but i'm wondering how the UK cartax system works. In car ads people sell their car incl. tax? And when does a car become taxfree in The UK? Over here you pay the tax for your car (if it's younger than 25 years, after that it's taxfree) per month/ quarter year/ year (your choice) and if you sell the car the taxmoney for the period you've allready paid for will be returnd. Cheers, Mark
  10. Hi JP, If you want a nice manifold you should try EPS in Hoogeveen. I do also know some other people (in The Netherlands) who can make you a custom manifold witch will be quality. Cheers, Mark
  11. what about some nice BBS wheels, i've only got this crap photo of mine:
  12. Well, lets try it again: My MK1 has been featured in a Dutch magazine in 1998 and i wanted to have it ever since. The previous owner ran it low on oil so the engine broke down and the Escort has been collecting dust since 2000. I will need to restore the engine but at first save some money to do this. At the moment the MK1 is waiting for me to rebuild the engine: My current daily drive is this blue MK2 with forrest arches. It's been fully restored by the previous owner and still has the standard 1300 kent engine. I do also own an Escort RS Cosworth but i can't upload photo's at the moment, shouldn't be a problem because it's no OSF I'll post some pictures on demand. And as i've told in the post above i bought myself a MK1 Fiesta with an Escort RS1600i engine on twin 40's witch will have to compete with the MK2 as a daily. Pictures will follow. Cheers, Mark
  13. Hahaha, i love the RS1600i feature on this forum
  14. This post is number ten, this enables me to show my cars below . To celebrate this event i bought myself a MK1 Fiesta with RS1600i engine today Edit; I just tried to post some pictures but it's still not possible....
