I used 20mm cable as they say that any thing thinner you lose voltage to the starter all so make sure the engine is earthed well

Chris, I think he means proper shorthand which is a series of lines,dots and squiggles (example below) .... I used to do shorthand but it was many years ago and I prob wouldn't be much help now If you have any probs my sister inlaw does short hand
