yeah it's an A series. i fell in love with the way they look, not mad keen on the later ones i'd rather have a capri! i tried to post a pic but i'm not allowed to post pics or links cos i've made less than 10 posts.

hello there. i've been lurking on here for months now just thought i might break my silence. fords were the first old cars i got into after i grew out of my schoolboy max power phase (didn't take long) and my first car was a capri 1.6 laser. it was a gutless rotbox but the most fun i'd had in a car up to that point and i loved it. my current car is a 1975 opel manta with a XE on R1 carbs. it's been so long in the build that i've found myself planning new projects in my head (ford projects) but it's not gonna happen until i've had my fun with this manta and sold it on. i just signed up here because i've been itching to pick up an old fiesta or anglia or something and wanted more info. dying to buy another capri though but it definitley won't be a 1.6!
