yeah they are indeed round hole wellers....off a fiesta autograss car!! as for the colour, it is a ford colour, under the bonnet it says red velvet....on the original bill of sale it says jupiter red.....might see if anyone knows what it is...

about 2" all round also mate....but with 175/50 tyres on my 7js which are around 3/4" smaller diameter than the 185/60s i had on there....so about 2 3/4"s if you factor that in...yours looks good mate....smaller tyres really help on clearence tho!!

after finally sorting the coilovers here she is, as low as i can go and still get in my drive.....scrapes the exhaust a touch tho!!!

hi guys just been told in my thread asking about suspension that there was a classic ford how to on how to convert to coilovers, just looked through about 70 classic ford mags that i have and looks like the article was in one of the mags i didnt have!! chance of that!! only have about 6 missing from last 5 years ish!! anyone know which issue it was?? thanks

she most certainly is, i forgot to mention that! usual type nine conversion! so much room in the auto tunnel i was able to knock a bit of the tunnel in an create a footrest for my clutch foot inside the car! a real help on longer journeys! heres a pic of her in my sig...

hi there, my names jim im from kent and ive got a red mk 2 escort....i got her from an old boy in my village about five years ago, she was a 1300gl auto. now shes a 1660 crossflow, with round lights, cibies, bilstein capri struts, rst recaros, wide weller steels and shes lowered a bit...... tried to link to a pic but havent posted ten posts yet! atm ive got a spare boot and bonnet on her as im preparing her for another re spray....only 4 years since the first!! i wish i knew what i do now about waxoil and underseal the first time around! next thing is to get front suspension sorted i.e coilover ride height adjustable! ill be posting that in the tech area!
