  9. Well when I was 20 years younger I always dreamed of owning an XR 3i but didnt have the spare dosh to get one. Now I have, ok 20 years later so what and to me its an OLD SKOOL motor whatever u lot say. LOL My brother owns a nice MK1 Ford Consul in that nice powder blue but doesnt show it anymore, its wrapped up in his garage. What a waste. Im sure the XR 3i will become a classic in time. It brings me tons of pleasure and will just carry on caring for it till it gets as old as a MK1 or Mk2!!!!! Yer, yer yer there ya go. I know u guys have some really old fantastic fords and hey you have my respect. So who coming to my meet?

Had my XR 3i about 4 years now and been to about a dozen show and several big meets. Love driving topless when the sun is out. Just love old fords and was at Fairhaven this sunday showing my motor and drualing over some awsome Fords on display. I have organised meets before as a member of the FTO owners club and have decided to organise a Retro Ford meet at my workplace here in Leeds. If any of you have some nice motors to show and ur in the Yorkshire region then you are invited to come along. I have posted the details under the regional meets section. Dave (Yorkshireman)
  12. Hello, Im holding a ford meet on Sunday 27th Sept just North of Leeds at The Emmott Arms pub which I manage. Location: Rawdon, LS19 6PP. Nr Leeds/Bradford Airport. Start at 12 noon, but good if cars could be parking from 11.30pm before customers arrive. I have spaces for about 25 to 30 cars and was hoping to get some ford retro motors attending.
