Welcome, Some advise for a 4-door trackday car; Make it a 2-door Lighter, stiffer etc. Not sure if there are many 4-door trackday Mk1's. Would be something different I guess. Will be following your project, I like the idea very much..

Hi, This is one of the best Old Skool Ford forums that a came across on the Internet! I felt directly at home on this forum. Currently I own a Mk1 Fiesta as a daily driver, I have a Mk1 pre-airflow Mk1 Cortina as my winter project for 2009/2010, and my big love (besides the misses) is my Mk1 Escort. The Escort is currently undergoing its second restoration hopefuly to concours condition and I have owned this car for nearly 18 years now. So I have all cars that all of you OldSkoolers love so dearly. As soon as I have enough posts I will put some pictures online. I live in the Netherlands and was gladly surpised at the amount of foreign OldSkoolers on this site. Hope to spent some more time on this forum, and maybe to meet some of you guys on one of the UK-meetings in 2010?
