hi all,somebody should know this,ive just fitted my 20xe motor and type9 gearbox into my mk1 escort,but forgot to get the thin steel plate that fits between bellhousing and block .i have used a spiggot bearing on the end of the input shaft.Can i get away with not using the plate as its only couple of mm thick or will it cause me problems??
