tunel is no problem as i have a 5 speed one in all ready just wondred if ther was any issues running a type 9 with a cast rather than alloy housing ?

found a 2.0 capri axel in the scrappers what are they like to fit to a mk2 escort ? as non of the mountings are the same also founed a 1.6 pinto sierra complete g plate car will the gearbox be anygood for my mk2 its on the deck it looks like a type 9 with a cast housing cheers for any help
