  1. Sorry, my point is that there are plenty of cars that are neither licensed or SORN or that are not on the DVLA database at all. So yes, it is the DVLA figures which are incorrect so far as total numbers are concerned. You'd have to conceed that previously unknown/forgotton cars are being discovered all the time. In cases where people have throughly researched the actual surviving numbers of cars their numbers come out higher. The example I gave was of the 280 Capri, the site quotes 161 where as if you check the 280 Register or Dr Brooklands site you'll see the actual figure is over 400. I've seen people make similar observations with other models. That's all I'm saying - the site has limitations.
  2. It's woefully inaccurate - states 162 Capri 280's which is wrong, there's more than double that. Remember, this site only list licensed cars. I've seen it criticised elsewhere for the same reasons by owners of other models who know better.
  3. Perfect! Thanks for sorting this out - really appreciated.

    EBAY

It's just a way of reducing their fees as a final sale price percentage fee is charged on some stuff. The amount of postage, regardless of how much, is not included in this. i.e; £50 Final sale price (free postage) X 5% = £2.50 £2 Final sale price (£48 postage) X 5% = 1p Same total price, big difference in fees to the seller. On common, new items, I usually sort by lowest cost inc P+P which eBay allows you to do. On rare parts it's just make sure you know what they're charging before you bid. In my opionion eBay is far too over priced and the fact you have PayPal charges on top is a joke.
  5. That'd be appreciated - thanks.
  6. I've also tried it on my laptop and it's still the same, I'll try it again from work tonight.
  7. In the first image I can see all of it but it stops a fraction short of showing the whole piston on the right hand side.
  8. This is the screen shot of the above image and although I can view it in the smae proportions as above, when I post it here it cuts it down again.
  9. N.B. I use Firefox but have just tried IE and it makes no difference at all. Except to say that IE is slower as ever... This image is mine and displays with no problems on another forum; I can see from the preview that it's chopping about 25% off the right hand side. The photo is saved to my PC and is hosted on Photobucket and displays from both perfectly.
  10. Thanks but it makes no difference - the aspect is the same, just smaller page over all. My screen is a 26" HD TV and so easily good enough to display wide images. The screen shot shown shows less than the actual picture if that makes sence. ie, when I posted up the screen shot it cut that already narrow picture down again. If I view the same image via Photobucket there's no problem at all and the images displays correctly and icidentally larger over all. Like I've said, I use other forums and sites with this same set up for over three years without a single issue up to now. From some other people's posts on OSF I can see I'm not the only one having this problem on here. There are limited display options open to me in my settings on here leaving me nothing else to try.
  11. Anyone? I'm on a different PC now and the problem is still the same.
  12. Cheers Vista, to make clear, when I view the thread itself it just chops the edge of the right wheel off. However, if I take a screen shot and upload it to Photobucket it works and can still be viewed as per my original view of it. If I then upload that screen shot here, as I have done, it chops even more off so you can only see one wheel as you can see.
  13. Bugger! It's still no better; And that screen shot is about 50% less than I can see and have saved (and can view correctly) on Photobucket. Weird. I've also tried a picture that I have posted on a different forum and viewed it on the preview function. It does exactly the same thing - chops about 30% of the RH side. I'm stumped, I've never had this problem before, I've looked at all the settings in the control panel and can't see anything that could be doing it.
  14. Cheers Vista - just squashed it.
  15. Thanks for this - appreciated. I can't find any photo's that have been uploaded since you've made the changes. I look a little later and will post my findings. Thanks again.
