just toying with the idea of selling the project on and getting something more "complete". Some idea of what the following would sell for would be good ( and if its the sort of thing someone would buy) This is the list: mk1 1982 fez that was an xr2 rep with xr2 brakes etc. currently a bare shell and being welded. so far its had a brand new complete boot floor, both bottom corners and n/s/r arch repaired. the front is stripped and is in the process of having a new cross member and new front panel. will need inner and outer sills and front pass footwell. I have all new panels to complete this inc both front wings. the original mk1 doors were shot so I managed to find two mint mk2 doors, also have a smoothed mk2 tailgate and the original mk1 item. Full brand new Gaz coilovers all round I have two 1.3 complete xflow engines. One is standard and the other is a 1340 with a sporty cam and mexico big, double valve head. also have a full bolt in cage, 5 x pepperpots, 4 x rs4 spokes, 2 full sets of mk1 xr2 driveshafts, new discs, pads, wheel cylinders, engine cradle, xr2 round headlights, 2 x grills, moutney steering wheel with gen mk1 boss, and a shed load of other spares inc elec fuel pump, another set of xr2 lights, oil pumps, dizzys, carbs, etc. to finish its need the welding done, paint, pair of seats, new brake pipes, boot fuel tank and a reduced wiring loom. I planned on a small binicle style dash with just a speedo, rev counter and switches. Really not sure on what to do as I dont get as much time on this as id like. let me know your thoughts, Aaron

If anyone can ever spare some time to help on mine then Ill always return the favour. If its not car related then Im also a kitchen and bathroom fitter / tiler / plumber so can always help out that way.

Cheers I take it theres a kent meet at some point in the month? Yes mate, there's a couple that i know of. think there is a meet room on the forum somewhere. I popped along to the medway monkeys meet last thurs (2nd thurs of the month) but its rite on my door step and my cars not finished yet Ill take a look on here for some venues. Im in the same boat ATM with the car... will feel a fraud turning up in the golf I own lol...

Hi, Great site... dont know why it took me so long to get on here lol. Im currently in the process of re building my MK1 Fiesta. It was a present to me from the wife one birthday. Been chasing the rust and letting in fresh steel ( so much rust lol). Having got off to a flying start that changed when unfortunalty due to my son arriving ive not really been able to get out to the garage much for the last year. Thats all changed now and Im now able to get stuck back in. Will post some pics in the resto section for anyone whos interested. Cheers Aaron
