  1. Definately mk1webby. I'll give u a go down the strip too. Providing I got the cappa by then. And as long as your not still running the engine in?
  2. It's going to have to be a pinto lump. From what u gus are saying. I don't think the 2.8 is going to be as good as the pinto for what I want to do. Plus after speaking to some mates. I'm sure it will be a lot cheaper. Plus I have been offered a tuned pinto head from a good friend. So that has kinda sealed it. The 2.8 has got all the toys and stuff. But I dint want a car to drive around in. I want summin to play around with and go drag racing in. So the pinto without Its power steering will be great. And as for the interior. That's coming out. And I got a pair of Cobra Monaco S's sat at home. Just waitin for the car. Still hoping to make the 6th June osf show. Mark
  3. Yeh. I wasn't planning on keeping it standard for very long, think it's going to have to be a pinto. I want something relatively cheap and easy to play around with.
  4. I'm looking to buy my first classic ford. And I've always wanted a mk3 Capri. But I'm unsure of what engine Would be the best choice? My plan was to strip it out fit bucket seats etc, play around with the engine in a garden shed in my spare time, And go drag racing. I have some mechanical know how. And I know that a tuned 2 litre 4pot can give great performance, but is it better to just have pure displacement? Any suggestions please? Cheers Mark
