Thanks for all the input ( excuse the pun) I have now managed to identify there are two differnet shafts long = V6 19 teeth and short= pinto 18 teeth so looks like next job is either a used gearbox or a shaft change but thanks again for all the GOOD advice regards Paul

Hi hope someone can help! will a type 9, 2.0litre gearbox fit a 2.8 cologne engine I am trying to swap a 2.0 litre pinto for a 2.8 v6 thanks Paul
