Got my new gauges GPS 0-60 quarter mile time top speed recall elevation and compass built in just got to finish the dash and centre consol and rewire it might even be ready for classic ford show

I agree with the above older cars rods yanks would be good and a few cortina s and mustangs flying round silverstone at ford fair would be a nice sight don't mind the odd rs1600i unfortunately there's only so many "classic fords" so it's inevitable

I think it varies month to month I think retroford has got better recently I personally hate the cut and paste history lessons andi think both mags miss a trick with not featuring more hot rod drag cars even classic yank stuff but everyone's views are different so it's got to cater for everyone I like the readers workshop type stuff best and the events coverage

Yeah I know power tour is a tour drag week is racing but that's in the states what there organising here is a bit of a mixture of the two there are a couple of different people organising events I read about the interview with andy frost he's looking at entering 2015 mick Wilkes won spirit of drag week .It should be a good laugh as stated I think the other group organising an event will be more geared towards really quick cars but I will keep reading up on it

Its a road trip from what ive read its 3days drag racing at 3 different tracks cars got to go to all 3 tracks no trailers or support vehicles fastest average times win think theres different clases 4pot turbo v8 etc google hot rod power tour to get an idea in America its the big event they do two power tour witch is just a road trip and drag week thats a competition race drive race to find the ultimate street legal car theres a couple of different prople trying to organise an event but one I think is going to be for mega rich 8second cars
