    On behalf of a friend, I'm trying to find out anything about an ex works rally Twincam Escort X00245G. Apparently his father bought it after Ford had finished with it, and now he'd like to know more about its time with Ford (drivers, race/rally wins and finishing positions) as well as what happened to it after they'd sold it on. Does anyone know anything?

    I can remember talking to Jeff Uren at Symonds Yat many years ago, where he described his Savage Cortinas as the ultimate Q cars. I guess he was just a bit biased though Simon - I'd love to have a proper copy of the the Lotus Cortina pics from the same article. I'm guessing the current owner of CTC 16E would too thinking about it!. Would that be possible mate?

    nice pics there - Makays Garage in the background there is a place I got to know quite well last year - they did an emergency welding job on the exhaust on my estate last year
