Hello there Uk fellow oldskool ford lovers, i'm Jos from the Netherlands and i'm an continental granada fan. (So there could be a couple off spelling faults in my topics. Sorry for that) I googled for granada injection and came across this site. I've read it for a bit and the site's quite interesting. So i thought let's introduce myself. Like i said before I'm Jos from the Netherlands. I'm from Nieuwleusen (granada city! there're over 100 granada's (mk1, mk2) on the road in our little village). I've got 4 road going granadas at the moment. All 2.8 engines 2 carbed automatic saloons and 2 2.8i manual injection (sport) estates. I got interested in granada's approx. 15 years ago due to autorodeo's. (dutch form off banger racing) After stripping and racing several granada's we started to 'save' the good ones. There're no bigger enthousiasts then (former)banger drivers. I've seen a couple off ovalchat nicknames here as well. We still use the bad shells for racing. Nowadays all good parts are taken off and saved for later. Unlike 5 years ago all good shells are being saved as well. The current ones i have there're two really good ones and two which are driving donors. I'll use them for the next few years and then then the will be used for parts. (and the shell probably for racing). Like i said Nieuwleusen is granada city. There are loads off banger drivers here and most off them have got granada mk1 and mk2's on the road. Some very nice restored. There're a currently over a hundred and still increasing. (there're loads more waiting for restoration in the sheds) We're able to hold our on the road because off all the spare parts here. There're more granada's here then in the rest of Holland togehter. Every third weekend in june we have an international ford freak meeting in our village with over 150 cars. All pre 1985 fords are allowed. But most off the cars are granada's. (mk1 and mk2. The mk3 is scorpio over here) Not banger related. There're allways are a few englishmen at our 'treffen'.
