Insurance Section is for Traders ONLY BUT Any damage to your display cars is NOT the liability of the show organisers Also no selling/trading is allowed on any Exhibitor stand because if you do then you become a trader and need PLI Hope this is clear See you all on the night before on the campsite @ the Pod

Just had this back from Classic Ford Hi Dave, regarding public liability insurance. We do have it, but it only covers such things as members of the piublic falling over a car and breaking their arm etc. If for example one of your stand cars got damaged then you will have to sort that out yourselves. Correct Jo BUT Your car would be in the organisers designated public car park area You would be visiting the stands and not be part of the stands As a visitor your safety is the Liability of the organisers and the Clubs/Traders/Attractions on site

No way mate you are spot on I just happen to read T+C's and I would not sign a form without having PLI behind me Too many "Blame & Claim" sharks about Its Ok saying "it will never happen to me" or "sod it dont bother" BUT it does happen to somebody and one day it will happen to you

As you may be aware I run a website for MKI and MKII RS Escorts A number of registered members would like me to organise a "club" stand I have enquiried to various Show organisers and their application forms require signing by a "responsible" person !! Their T + C's contain the usual - all damages and costs will be met by the undersigned blah blah blah This is a Public Liability clause !!! Has O/S/F got sufficient cover ? If so where did you get it from ? How much ? Thanx for any help
