That's what I nearly did when I saw the intended 2012 Capri in this weeks newspaper: FWD and based on a Focus ford-capri.ch/pictures/news/capri-2012.jpg But don't worry, I'll stick to my good old MkIII @ redrocked: Servus! Never been on ford-board.de, more on Caprihome.de Its a good forum with many nice and helpful members, but when it comes to modified cars some guys always start the discussion if one should change anything on such a classic car even if nobody asked for that discussion AGAIN... So I registered on Turbosport.co.uk a while back and found lots of people that are even more crazy than I am. But as most people there have MkI and II Escorts, here seem to be some more Capris around what hopefully makes this forum even more interesting. You can see some pics of my Capri from 2009 still on 16" wheels with complete interior, standard headlights and hood in the album sction. As a new member I can't link them here at the moment...

Hi All, I'm Daniel and just came across this forum recently. Looks like a great source of inspiration and you seem to be open for all kinds of modifications and that's what I miss in many of our local forums... My Old Skool Ford is a MkIII Capri that started life in 1983 as 2.8i. Over the last years I swapped the old V6 for a Ford 5.0 V8 from a 1992 Mustang GT including all the electronic stuff that comes with it, the T5-Transmission and 8.8“ rear axle. Lots of other stuff was also changed like compression struts, a watts linkage, Porsche 911/BMW 7 series brake setup, 7,5x17 wheels with with Toyo R888 semi slicks.......... So most work on the car is done but such a project is never really finished. At the moment work is about saving weight, aerodynamics and the set up of the running gear. So long, Daniel
