  1. What time saturday is the cruise on the seafront???
  2. No-one has mentioned master cylinder yet. My capri one went and it started pulling to one side and it didnt start to brake till a fair bit of pressing.
  3. Well done for your trophy win.
  4. We would like everyone to book themselves in this year as we expect to run out of room this time such has been the interest in the show already and we have had a lot of bookings in only a few days.
  5. Hoping to see the Suffolk/Norfolk/Essex OSF contingent here on 25th April. For more details check out http://carsonthegreen2010.eventbrite.com/
  6. Cars On the Green returns for another year, raising money for charity and bringing together some of the best cars in the region for a great family day out. Held for it's third year at New Green, Thurston, Suffolk. Due to increased running costs we will be charging an exhibitors fee of £1 payable at the gate, however all exhibitors will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 Saturday night camping available for £10 per car It is still free just to visit. If you book a ticket on here you are guaranteed a space!!!!! Bookings taken online for both clubs and individuals. http://carsonthegreen2010.eventbrite.com/ This year we will also be holding an auto jumble and trade area so book yourself a pitch to sell you unwanted parts or bring your money and pick up some bargains. Trade pitches still available, contact organisers to discuss.
  7. I will be wandering round there, nice little show, shame i have no working ford to take. Will look for your scort.
  8. thats pretty good really, as ford massively overstated the colognes output when new.
  9. If any of you are intersted we are having one in haverhill this sunday afternoon. Open to all retros, but mainly Fords http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... 873#964873
  10. any more details wanted pm me or call dave.
  11. Yeah Buryretroford have a monthly meeting on a monday night, though i am organising a meet for a sunday afternoon in bury fairly soonas it is dark by the time we all turn up now.
  12. I stopped using them a while back after i bought a wobbly prop and recieved little help when i called them. Took it to JW engineering in Bexleyheath to sort it. Top guys who i should hae used to make me a prop in the first place.
  13. Make sure you get a quality torque wrench though. I did up my wheel nuts to the "correct" torque setting using a cheapish one and 100 miles later heard a funny knocking, got out and found i had wobbly wheels
  14. I have been told the bag of cement thing loads of times. I think it is more the fact that the advice givers back then were running their fords on a budget and fitting Nankang ditchfinders on the back.
