Granada 2.8Ghia X Auto.............£2800
granny V8 replied to wazzzuk's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CARS FOR SALE
What sort of money are you looking for? PM me -
Hi all, this is my car that was written off by storm damage last year, so I'm selling the shell, the damage that was done was mainly the front passenger side A pillar but it is not bent just badly dented, also has a lot of rot around rear screen, will put pics up later, rest of car is very solid, will be a waste if bangerd! Please note that this is for shell only, she has no engine, box, prop, front subframe or any interior, will leave old rear wheels on for ease of transport and dash board, please don't ask if I'll throw the engine in etc in as I'm using it all for my next project, no front subframe as it's not suitable for any other engine apart from a v8, no bumpers, lights grill or chrome etc as that's all gone! Would like to swap for a mk2 rolling shell with everything but running gear!!! Please message me for pics as I'm listing this on my phone Cheers

Hi all, my old mk1 V8 Granada (TKJ 422R) was written off due to storm damage last year so we are looking for a mk2 Granada saloon to drop our v8 in, let me know what you have, preferably doesn't have an engine or any running gear as I have this already but don't mind either way aslong as it's a solid car I'm not too botherd about bodywork but i don't want a pig! Please let me know what you have No estates Thanks

Firstly get rid of that C3 as they are not as strong as a c4, secondly my mate who put the car together originaly (ian quarterman) ie. dropped the engine in etc swapped them for Mk2 2.8 springs, he also said that a standard set of mk1 3.0 springs will be fine -
Hi there people, i am after any pics you or maybe friends of yours have of my Mk1 Granada v8 reg no. TKJ 422R in royal blue, i know she has also been in a couple of car magazines which i have (steet machine 1993 & classic ford 2003). I have also know there are a couple of videos out there of her doing a few runs up the strip but i cant find them so if you find anything please let me know and if you do then email me mjludlow@hotmail.co.uk, any help would be appreciated as i am doing a big write up on the car for shows etc as she has quite an interesting history Any pics whatsoever guys, no matter how bad, thanks

Heres my beast, take a look at more pics on my profile -
yeah mate definately, the thing that gets me the most is that their only worth about £30 scrap but are priceless to me, Id love to catch one of em' whilst he's trying to nick them! He'd never LOOK at another set of wheels again!! Thanks for the help anyways guys
-
Hi guys, some little rat bag tried to nick my wheels off my Mk1 Granny!! I came out Sunday morning to find a wheel nut on the floor and my rear wheel nuts loose! Now i know what some of you's may be thinking, "that silly bast**ds' left his wheel nuts loose!" Let me tell you, i have owned the vehicle over 7 years and regularly check my wheel nuts especialy with all that power and not only that, the wheel nuts get stuck in the holes when trying to remove them! My car is very well known and anyone caught going anywere near my car with the intention of causing damage or removing said items will be delt with accordingly Not only that, my wheels WILL NOT fit any other car as they have been custom modified to fit over my after market hubs, have hidden recognition marks and are 1 of a kind. I dont meen to be rude folks but just think how you'd feel if some toe rag tried nicking your pride and joy or bits off of it. If anyone knows where i can get some decent locking wheel nuts please let me know as they are really hard to get hold of for my wheels. Kind regards P.S* Pics of my wheels can be seen on my posts

granny V8 replied to granny V8's topic in READERS RIDES (PAST & PRESENT) PICTURES, BROCHURES & ARCHIVES
thanks for the comments guys, the car was bought with a v8 in it back in april 03 but my dad blew the engine after 5 days, we bought another engine with same bhp and in july 06 we raced it at santa pod and ran a 13.99@ 98.99 mph, but a year before that we ran a 13.39@ 108.97 mph with a 3.27 diff, we then removed that engine in 08 due to piston ring failure and to rebuild would have bin over 3k so we found another 351w with same bhp for £1800 so we bought that and sold the other engine as spares, then totaly rebuilt the front end with new poly bushes, all suspension arms and subframe powder coated and new discs and brake lines the lot and then put the engine in so to answer you question in regards to install, yes and no, the original v8 was installed by a guy in surrey who first owned the car called ian, he done all the bracket work, mounts, sump, gearbox the lot, he also pro streeted it but didnt like it so he put it back to standard irs and resprayed it ford royal blue. -
