Hi mates. This is a pic of about 1973 -74, can't remember. As above, this is LVX944J Rallying in Uruguay, Rally "19 Capitales". The driver Federico West and co-driver Krikor Assadourian were local pilots, and were participating sponsored by Ford of Uruguay. As far as I recall, they won the race. Cheers, Eduardo

Hello mates, my name is Eduardo Benech,I'm from Uruguay and am a retired engineer. I've been a Ford Escort fan from about 1976, in fact I've been a rally and circuit pilot ever since up to aprox 1996, mainly with MK2s and XR3s. In the present moment I own three MK2s big bore, and in the process of restoring another one. All of the three are on different stages of development, and I participate with them in classic car races both circuit and tarmac. I'ts a pleasure being a member of Old School Ford, and I'm sure I'll meet a lot of guys to share our experiences with our cars Cheers Eduardo. PS. A few pics of my activity through the years.
