  1. I bought this with the intentions of restoring her to original spec, however I have bought another project which means this must go It is a very solid and straight shell It has had new outriggers welded in and new sills Comes complete with all parts to finish inc prop All chrome trim present, lights, bezels, grille etc Needs engine and box (see description below) I do have an excellent complete V6 with a proper V6 carb which I will offer the buyer which is a front bowl sump so it will fit straight onto the existing crossmember I also have 3 branch manifolds which I have made, which will fit this engine and will clear the inner wings...they are not the same ones you can buy for a cortina. These are also available at an extra cost It can be fitted to any early ford box- 2000E, capri V6 box, schimitar box etc Or I have a 1300gt xflow with 30k miles (Replaced all seals and gaskets) complete with the gearbox I can do a deal on the car with either engine 07939988805 prefer to be called or texted, cheers Link to the ebay ad http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Corsair-1700-V4-project-/331196381399?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4d1cd7b8d7

  9. Cheers felle. Wellers aren't to many people's fancy, but they suit the car well. 7x13 185x60 front and 8x13 205x60 rears They're so cheap for some reason. Well I saw them as a cheap banded steel and went for em for £40 the set

  14. I have bought a pinto engine which was fitted in a transit which was used for racing. The previous owner claims it is a 2.2 race engine. I have removed the cam cover andit looks pretty good with new valves, springs etc and was told by my father it was a high lift cam. Is there any way of telling it is a 2.2? I don't mind stripping it down as I will be replacing all the gaskets and seals for my own peace of mind.
  15. Cheers guys. The corsair has been restored over the past 14 months and Will be doing some serious mileage this summer (and showing her off )
