Hi guys dont no if anybody has got or nows where i can get hold of stearing joint damperner!! cant think of its proper name, its a rubber/type unit that goes between the slider on the rack and the knuckel that goes to the bottom of the column!! the rack is mk3/4 cortina.only prob is this unit is fitted to my hot rod that i bulit 20 odd years ago,so the shaft has been modefied. so not to worried about the shaft being right, just need the rubber bit!!!!! thanks Bert

Hi guys well here i am bert the welder not quite a boy, but still youngish. ive had several old fords in me time, started wiv a mk2 1600gt cortina followed by mk3 1600gt cortina(worst motor i ever brought) mk2 3.0s capri, mk2 2.8 grannie giha x,part owner mk2 esky v6 giha and finally mk1 2door 1100base model, ohh and 4 transits. and a shoppin trolly f-c-s. As a welder all my life ive welded 2many old fords plus all the outher old crap out their,i would LOVE a non rotten ford!!well 1day that may happen!! Bert
