Hey guys Amateur question I'm sure but I have a mk1 cortina super which needs a couple of front wings but I wondered if they were all the same through from the lotus to gt etc... I see some on ebay from a p100 and wondered if these would fit? Also anyone know where I can get the wings from if these aren't correct Thanks

wow seems alot of work involved to change the engine. Might see what hpe can do with the current 1500 lump in there as the fabrication and modding of steering racks is rather daunting to me and don't wanna spend mega money on this car

I'm not sure to be honest i think a quicker steering rack would be better with that power but have no idea what rack to get? What sort of power will a slightly nodded xflow give? Also where can I pick these up from? Thanks for the advice guys

I've just got a mk1 cortina super build starting and it currentLy has a 1500 gt engine and box in which my grandad put in back in the day. The engine needs a rebuild but I thought I might take the opportunity to upgrade the engine for more power now rather than rebuild this one. Trouble is I can't weld or want to cut into the car as it's really clean structurally. Is there any simple engine transplants I can do and what is the effort required to put it in? Going to use the car for fun only so very little use but want it to be fun to drive and give a few cars a bit of a surprise. Thought of a 2 litre pinto but don't know how easy this would be? Any thoughts?

Hi guys another newbie I have recently brought home my grandads mk1 cortina super (which he says he has had from new but I have not done any digging into it's history yet) from storage in a garage we have as I miss the old ford scene. Plan is to restore the body and lower it with just a set of mini light wheels for looks. Interior wise I'm torn whether to strip it out or keep the factory look. Engine wise is where I'm struggling. I want something simple to fit and get about 150-200bhp from for some fun. I'll probably open a build thread but that's the plan at the moment. I use to have a mint series two Rs turbo which I took to a lot of shows and won a lot of modified car events for. I'll update pictures of this soon as some of you may recognize it. Anyway that's me and I be starting to come to local events soon to show my face and get back into the ford scene. Look forward to meeting some of you along the way
